An episode of "The Brighter Day", a soap opera of the 1950s. In this episode, one of the characters is getting ready to get married. Complete with the original commercials for Cheer detergent and Shasta shampoo. Print is a bit dark. I might be wrong, but I believe most episodes of this series are lost. Please check your attic.

A 1966 television special from Australia, featuring popular singer Tom Jones performing songs to a studio audience. Some footage from this special also appeared in the 2 July 1966 edition of "Brian Henderson's Bandstand". Though originally recorded on videotape, the surviving copy is a kinescope. Recorded in Melbourne (some sources incorrectly state it was recorded in Sydney), I actually checked three different old publications (The Age, Canberra Times, Australian Women's Weekly)...

After the first series of "Life with Luigi", starring J. Carroll Naish, was cut short in January 1953, due to problems with the sponsor (General Food), a "New Life with Luigi" started on April 9, 1953. The all new cast consisted of Vito Scotti, Thomas Gomez and Muriel Landers playing "Rosa". Again it lasted but a few months. Sorry for the poor picture quality.
